ELIDA RODRIGUEZ LOPEZ

Elida Rodriguez Lopez, 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Lopez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident. She worked for over 30 years at LISD, J.C.Martin Elementary. At the end of her retirement through LISD, she taught students with Dyslexia. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, of 46 years of marriage, Margarito Lopez, who passed away on January 29, 2017.

Siblings, Heriberta R. Lopez and Geronimo Rodriguez Jr.

She is survived by her two sons, Margarito Lopez Jr. and Marco A. Lopez.

Grandson, Marco Abraham Lopez.

Sisters, Claudia R. Richey, Guadalupe R. Trevino, Sylvia R. Acosta and Virginia R. Leveck.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, October 23, 2023 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will be held at a later date.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Dale Richey, Marco Lopez, Margarito Lopez Jr., Matthew Levek, David Lopez and Mario Revels.

Funeral services are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
