Elisa A. Gorut, 65, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at a local hospital. Miss Gorut was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident. She is preceded in death by her parents, William L. Gorut and Lilia Mata Gorut. She is survived by her sister, Graciela G. Dominguez. Nephew, Michael (Melissa) Gutierrez and daughter, Liliana Gutierrez. Niece, Gracie (Shawn) Geissler. Children, Edward Jr., Stephen, Geremy and Samantha. Also surviving her are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A Chapel service will be held at 11:30 a.m. officiated by Deacon David Vargas in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will be held at a later date.
