ELISA H. ZAMORA

Elisa H. Zamora, 73, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Mrs. Zamora was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Alejandra G. Hernandez.

Sister in Law, Carol Castillo.

Brothers in Law, Justino Bernal and Ricardo Saenz.

Niece, Rosa Bernal.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 27 years of marriage, Jose Luis Zamora.

Brother, Julian Castillo of Chicago, IL.

Sisters, Ester Bernal, Julia Saenz and Manuelita (Roberto) Macias.

Nieces and nephews, Sharon Macias, Bobby (Nitza Mitsui) Macias, Sharlyne Macias, Sherry Macias, Ruby (Daniel) Villarreal, Ricardo Saenz Jr., Ruth (Martin Daniel) Vera and Rosie (Juan Ramirez) Saenz.

Also surviving her are additional nieces, nephews, grand nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 4 pm to 9 pm and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WILL BE:  Ricardo Saenz Jr., Martin Daniel Vera, Daniel Villarreal Jr., Ricardo Saenz IV, Sharon Macias, Sharlyne Macias, Sherry Macias and Alexander Contreras.
