ELISEO CEGUEDA
Eliseo Cegueda, 58, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
Mr. Cegueda was born in Laredo, Texas and was a long life resident. He was an avid wrestling fan who enjoyed going to wrestling matches and watching it on TV. He also enjoyed listening and dancing to Tejano music.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jose L. Cegueda.
He is survived by his mother, Petra F.(Jose+) Cegueda.
Siblings, Irene (Antonio) Sarmiento Jr., Jose L. (Lucy) Cegueda and Rudy Cegueda.
Nephews and nieces, Jose (Maria) Cegueda III, Christina (Alex) Lara, Erica Sarmiento, Jessica (Salvador) Cegueda, Anthony (Samantha) Sarmiento, Amanda Sarmiento and Luis Cegueda.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Rudy Cegueda and Antonio Sarmiento Jr. for the love, care and attention given, during the past 2 years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave
. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 10:05 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
