ELISEO B. MARTINEZ Eliseo B. Martinez, 84, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at a local hospital. Mr. Martinez was born in San Antonio, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by parents, Manuel and Cleotilde Martinez. Brothers, Cresencio Martinez and Santiago Martinez. Sisters, Trinidad Montoya, Toribia Juarez, Zenaida Cantu and Francisca Vasquez. He is survived by his wife, Herminia Martinez. Children, Eliseo (Leticia) Martinez, Paula Magdalena (Irineo) Roman, Manuel (Ana Maria) Martinez, Juan Hector (Veronica) Martinez, Maria Susana Martinez and Francisco Javier (Mehgan) Martinez. 18 Grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 on Thursday, August 28, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery
