ELIZA G. GONZALEZ
Eliza G. Gonzalez, 90, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Gonzalez was born in Encinal, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rumaldo Gonzalez.
Son-in-law, Daniel Botello.
Brothers, Andres Villegas and Trinidad Flores.
Sisters, Margarita Gomez and Manuela Orta.
She is survived by her children, Maria (Daniel+) Botello, Maria Trinidad (Alejandro) Urbina, San Juana (Richard) Barnes, Rosalinda Gonzalez, Candelario (Maria) Gonzalez, Elvira (Rodolfo) Garcia, Irma (Jesus Enrique) Dominguez and Cande R. (Melissa) Gonzalez.
17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
