ELIZABETH MARIE VILLANUEVA

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Elizabeth Marie Villanueva, on July 3, 2025.

Elizabeth was a very kind hearted woman. She survived the death of her beloved daughter (Lucy) Lucille Marie Villanueva. Years later, she survived the death of her father, Santiago M. Juarez, on July 3, 1922. Her mother Maria Belia Juarez was all her love, as she lived with her for many years until her death. Lisa as she was called worked for Sen Judith Zaffirini at Laredo Community College. Later she worked for Dickey Haynes Office. Years later, she lived in Carrizo Springs for many years until the death of her only child (Lucy) Lucille M. Villanueva., where she was put to rest at the age of 17 in Carrizo Spring, after a long illness. When Lucy died my daughter Lisa was devastated and mourned all her life until her death.

She is survived by her sister, Selma M. Quintana (Agustin), nephew, Agustin Quintana Jr., Niece, Monica Quintana, Sister, Belia Marie Juarez, Brother, Mario A. Juarez (Araceli) Sister, Nora Villarreal, Niece, Christa M. Barrera (Bryan), Nephew, Lucas and niece, Marissa Barrera, nephew, Arturo Villarreal (Erika), nieces Area and Ileana Villarreal, brother, Jose Luis Juarez.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal services will be held on a later date.
