Elma Harrell, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Mrs. Harrell was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ricardo and Guadalupe Rodriguez.

She is survived by her siblings, Margarita Gonzalez, Clementina Peters, Ricardo Rodriguez Jr., Romeo Rodriguez and Nora Thibeault.

Cousin, Juan Manuel Rodriguez.

Brother-in-Law, Jesus O. Cardenas.

Sisters, Graciela (Pedro JR.) Garza and Rosa Cardenas.

Nephews and nieces, Rolando Gonzalez, Alberto Ricardo Garza, Antonio Ricardo Rodriguez, Marissa Rodriguez, Jessica Cardenas, Becky Lee Cardenas, Jesus O. Cardenas Jr., Monica Marie Cardenas, Edward Joseph Thibeault,Laura Thibeault, Daniel Thibeault, Judy Sanchez, Janette Palomo, Cody Rodriguez, Veronica Rodriguez and Carlos Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Ray Guevara, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . A chapel service will be officiated in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2025. Committal services will be held on a later date.
