ELMA C. HINOJOSA

Elma C. Hinojosa, 96, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Hinojosa was born in Benavides, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her spouse, Pedro R. Hinojosa.
Parents, Pedro and Estefana Casas.
Son, Homero H. Hinojosa.
Brother, Leocadio Casas.
Son-in-law, George Ryan.

She is survived by her children, Elma Diana Ryan and Helen (Carlos) Chapa.
Daughter-in-law, Debra Hinojosa.
Grandchildren, Kimberly (Shawn) Strouse, Jennifer (Bill) Sutherland, Kelly (Jim) Miller and Christopher Hinojosa.

Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, other relatives and  many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and a Liturgy of the Word officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonardo Aguillon will be held at 11 a.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
