Obituary

ELPIDIO ESPINOZA
Elpidio Espinoza passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on February 16, 2022.
He was born November 16, 1924 to Luis Gonzalez Espinoza and Rita Cruz de Espinoza in Cd. Manuel Doblados, Guanajuato, Mexico. As a young man, he became a carpenter by trade in Mexico. When he came to the United States he worked for 40 years as a mechanic, welder, Lathe operator and Machinist at Modern Machine. He enjoyed swimming at the Laredo Recreation Center and walk miles for exercise. His favorite sport to watch was baseball. After he retired, he volunteered at Doctor's Hospital of Laredo and at Church. He would worship at San Jose Catholic Church. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis Gonzalez Espinoza and Rita Cruz de Espinoza.
Brothers, Luis Espinoza and Felipe Espinoza.
Sister, Maria del Socorro Espinoza de Ornelia, Maria de Lourdes Espinoza de Casado.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 62 years of marriage, Santa Espinoza.
Son, Luis Espinoza, from Austin, Texas.
Siblings, Ramona Espinoza and Jesus Espinoza.
Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal services will be held on a later date.
