ELVA GARCIA
Elva Garcia, 71, passed away on Thursday, August 08, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Garcia was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a long-life resident.
She was a loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her heart full of kindness and love for those who needed it. She will greatly be missed and remembered by all the hearts she touched with the loving and caring person she was.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Esther Guerra.
Brothers, Antonio Guerra Jr. and Guillermo Longoria.
Grandchild, Alejandro Garcia III.
She is survived by her husband, Alejandro Garcia.
Children, Alejandro Garcia Jr. (Margarita), Elsa Garcia (Juan), Linda Verdiguel (Gabriel) and Araceli Garcia (Enrique).
Grandchildren, Alejandro Garcia IV, Roberto Nicholas Garcia, Armando Gonzalez, Vicente Moreno, Gabriella Verdiguel and Mario Verdiguel.
Also surviving her are her siblings, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at San Jose Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
