ELVIRA G. GONZALEZ
Elvira G. Gonzalez, 96, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Gonzalez was born in China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years of marriage, Felipe Gonzalez Quintanilla.
Parents, Eugenio Garcia Guajardo and Maria Antonia Rodriguez Garcia.
Children, Ramon Gonzalez and Reynaldo Gonzalez.
Granddaughter, Hilda Gonzalez.
Great-grandson, Cesar Adrian Lopez jr.
She survived by her children, Jose (San Juana) Reyes Gonzalez, Raquel (Manuel) Hurtado, Ricardo(Dalfina) Gonzalez, Rene(Julia) Gonzalez, and Sylvia Liliana (Juan Moreno) Gonzalez.
Grandchildren, Juan Jose Gonzales, Patricia Gonzalez, Diana Gonzalez, San Juana Vanessa Gonzalez, Raquel Hurtado, Manuel Hurtado, Mara Gonzalez, Rene Gonzalez, Julia Karina Gonzalez, Reynaldo Gonzalez, Felipe Gonzalez, and Gerardo Gonzalez.
Great-Grandchildren, David Reyes Avila, Ashley Avila, Leslie Avila, Joselyn Salazar, Scarlet M.Garcia, Maya Lopez, Ibelly Salazar, Katheryn Gonzalez, Abel Gonzalez, Camila Lopez, Alondra Lopez, Kaitlyn Lopez, Carlos De Jesus Moreno, Jajuan Moreno, Eleazar Garza III and Hanna Dalia Rubio.
Also surviving by numerous other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas,
visitation will be limited to 50% of capacity inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons
Southside Chapel, loop 20 and Zapata Hwy.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30,2020
Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Nuestra Señora Del Rosario Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
