ELVIRA R. GARCIA Elvira R. Garcia, 92, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. Garcia was born in Mexico and had been a resident of Webb County for sometime. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Gamez. Brothers and Sister, Carlos Rodriguez, Antonia Rocha, Tina Villarreal. She is survived by her children, Yolanda Gamez, Maria (Reynaldo) Farias, Joe Gamez, Miguel Garcia and Guadalupe Garcia. Also grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Sister, Petra Lopez. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will also be recited in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin Tuesday morning, December 18, 2012 departing the funeral home chapel.
