ELVIRA A. REYES Elvira A. Reyes, 92, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at a local retirement home. Mrs. Reyes was born in Temple, Texas and had been a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Juanita Alvarado. Siblings, Baldomero Alvarado, Luis Alvarado, Rodolfo Alvarado, Raul Alvarado, Carlos Alvarado, Anita A. Otal, Alicia A. Hinojosa, Arturo Alvarado and Eduardo Alvarado. Son, Jorge Munoz. She is survived by her husband of 58 years of marriage, Roberto Reyes, Sr. Children, Adolfo Homero (Susie) Munoz, Javier Munoz, Elvira M. Arredondo, Veronica M. (Leopoldo) Garcia, Roberto Reyes, Jr. and Luis Ramon Reyes. Also surviving her are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
