EMILIA C. VALLS-ZUAZUA August 18, 1928 - November 29, 2014 Emilia C. Valls-Zuazua, 86, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Cipriana Romero. Parents, Gregorio and Clara Rubio. Brother, Miguel "Sonny" Zepeda. 1st Husband, Eduardo Valls. 2nd Husband, Juan Zuazua. She is survived by her children, Alicia (Guadalupe) De Leon, Eduardo (Lilia Elva) Valls, Sandra (Arturo) Banda, Arturo Guadalupe (Alicia) Valls, Roberto Valls, Roel (Cynthia) Valls, Ricardo (Sylvia) Valls and Violeta Zuazua. Brother, Jose Casarez. Uncle, Victor Torres. Also surviving her are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
