EMILIO ADAN LERMA SR. Emilio Adan Lerma Sr., 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at a local hospital. Mr. Lerma was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. He is preceded in death by his sons, Rolando Lerma and Alfredo Lerma. Brothers, Ricardo Lerma and Jose Lerma. Sisters, Maria Lopez, Rita Eva Loza, Felicidad Vicharreli and Aurora L. Trevino. Former Wife, Delia Donovan. He is survived by his wife, Martha G. Lerma. Children, Emilio Servando (Thelma) Lerma, Josefa (Victor) Mendoza, Delia (Eleazar) Arriaga, Rodolfo Lerma, Nevolena (Alex) Rodriguez, Thelma (Salvador) Palacios, Emilio Adan Lerma, Jr., Consuelo (Jose) Martinez, Viviana (Jesus) Martinez, Rosaura (Guadalupe) Gomez, Ettie (Chris) Hammack, Donna (Victor) Uruchurtu, Martha D. (Javier) Soriano, Kathy (Bacilio) Pena and Diana Lerma. Brother, Jesus Lerma. Sister, Nevolena Rodriguez. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Veteran's Section of the Laredo City Cemetery.
