EMMA TENORIO Emma Tenorio, 85, was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at a local retirement home. Mrs. Tenorio was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She was employed by L.I.S.D., as a custodian at Bruni Elementary School, for over thirty years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruno and Guadalupe Garza. Sisters, Olga Rodriguez. Brothers, Lazaro Garza, Jesus Garza and Oscar Garza. She is survived by her daughters, Emma T. (Javier) Gutierrez of Pasadena, Texas and Lydia Tenorio of Laredo, Texas. Grandchildren, Javier (Amy) Gutierrez, Belinda (Jaime) Gutierrez-Liceaga and Laura Veronica (Raymundo) Rojas Jr. Fourteen great-grandchildren. Sister, Lilia Sanchez. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Chapel Service will be officiated at 7 p.m. by Isacc Hernandez, of Isaiah 35 Church, in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
