ENRIQUE ESCOBEDO

Enrique Escobedo, 75, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 26, 2020.

Mr. Escobedo was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas and was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas.

Enrique Escobedo also known as "Ricky Boy" worked as a contractor the majority of his life.

He married his loving wife Ramona at a young age and together they formed a beautiful family.

Mr. Escobedo was an exceptional husband, very dedicated father, and loving grandfather. His most prized possession were his four daughters and son.

He is preceded in death by his son Enrique Escobedo Jr.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Ramona Escobedo. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Diana (Javier) Martinez, Marilu (Everardo) Sanchez, Ana (Jesus) Godina, and Iliana Escobedo; his loving grandchildren Evelyn, Jackie, Karina, Leslie, Enrique, Jesse, Chris, America, Katelyn Escobedo

Great-grandchildren Ethan, Reynaldo, Aubree, Rylie, Janine, Juanito, Rosalie, Isabella, and Baby G.

Also surviving him are his brothers and sisters, relatives and many friends.

The Escobedo Family would like to offer their sincere thanks and extend their gratitude to Dr. Carlos Casas, Dr. Carlos Espinosa, Regent Care Center, and staff at Doctors Hospital of Laredo.

Special thanks to the following Registered Nurses for pouring him with the utmost compassionate care during his end of life: Brenda Campuzano, Mauricio Castellanos, Cristina Tristan, and Hilda Carter

Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 50% of capacity inside our funeral home.It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on TUESDAY, June 30, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be officiated at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:00 a.m. on WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Santa Rita De Casia Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
