ENRIQUE "CUATE" FLORES Enrique "Cuate" Flores, 58, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Flores was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for sometime. He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco Jesus Flores. Brother, Carlos Flores. Sisters, San Juana Castaneda, Magdalena Flores and Raquel Flores. He is survived by his wife, Maria Mercedes Flores. Children, Claudia (Jose) Martinez, Maria Cristina (Paul Westerman) Flores and Ana Laura (Rene Perez) Flores. Grandchildren, Jocelyn Martinez, Adrienne Martinez, Rockelle Martinez, Emily Zuniga and Jordan Zuniga. Mother, Maria C. Flores. Brothers, Jose Luis (Maria Elisa) Flores, Jesus (Maria) Flores and Javier (Yolanda) Flores. Sisters, Armandina (Armando) Garza, Maria Luisa (Felipe) Cantu and Francisca (Ricardo) Izaguirre. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Laredo Medical Center ICU and his niece Raquel Medellin for always being at his side. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m in the Hernandez Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Santo Nino Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
