Enrique was a lifelong resident of Laredo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Felicitas Aranda de Ramon and his father, Enrique Ramon, Sr.
Mr. Ramon is survived by his beloved sister, Elsa Ramon-Moody and his niece, Alison J. Moody.of Lincoln, Nebraska.
He is also survived by his former spouse, Amparo Medina Ramon, his children, Norma Alicia Ramon, Enrique Ramon, III, Sandra Gabriela Ramon and Daniela Alejandra Ramon; various grandchildren, nieces and other relatives, including his dear cousins, Adela Aranda Perez and Jerry Aranda of Dallas.
He is also remembered by his cousins in Mexico from the Aranda and Mendez families.
Enrique (Kike)
was a talented guitar, bass, acoustic, and electric guitar player.
His sister
cannot remember a time when there wasn't music in the house. From his beloved Beatles to the Conjunto genre, he played 'by ear', never having studied how to read music. He was also a gifted composer, writer and artist.
He studied guitar under the late Luciano Duarte and composed music for his favorite conjunto musicians, including his favorite, Gilberto Perez.
