ENRIQUE M. SALAZAR
Mr. Salazar was born in Allende, Cuah., Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
Enrique M. Salazar, "El Azul", known by his close friends was a
beloved husband and father.
He was a hard working man who loved and was very proud of his work as a brick mason.
He was a devout member of The Nocturnal Adoration Society at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He also devoted his time at the LMC Chapel, in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, as he would often say that he felt very privileged to be able to be in the presence of the King of Kings.
Mr. Salazar is survived by his loving wife, of 60 years of marriage, Blanca E. Salazar.
Children, Marina del Rosario (Telesforo) Cantu, Leonardo Salazar, Anna I. Salazar, Nora A. Salazar, Irma Salazar and Marcos (Maria) Salazar.
Grandchildren, Flor M. (Tom) Scherschel, David Cantu, Daniel Salazar, Philip Salazar, Cristobal Salazar, Cristina I. Salazar, Cristian Salazar and Cristelle Salazar.
Great-grandchildren, Gabriel T. Scherschel, Noah A. Scherschel and Olivia Adeline Scherschel.
The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Dr. Milton Haber and Staff, Mrs. Lita, all the caring nurses and Staff at Doctors Hospital and Providence Rehab.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
