ENRIQUETA "QUETA" MARTINEZ

Enriqueta "Queta" Martinez, 82, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025.

Mrs. Martinez was born in Paras, N.L., Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Everardo Garza and Rebeca G. Garza.
Her beloved husband, Adolfo Martinez Sr.
Grandson, Justin A. Martinez.
Brothers, Everardo Garza Jr. and Francisco Garza.

She is survived by her children, Alma Veronica Martinez and Adolfo (Clarissa) Martinez Jr.
Grandchildren, Karina Martinez, Adolfo Martinez III and Antonio Martinez.
Great granddaughter, Kaitlyn A. Torres.
Sisters, Carolina Perez and Yolanda Garza.
Brothers, Modesto Garza and Enrique Garza.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Family would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Martinez caregivers, Rosita Montoya, Claudia Gutierrez and Nena Medina. Also a special thanks to Doctor Ildelfonso Flores.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
