Obituary

ERNESTA G. CANALES
Ernesta G. Canales, 89, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Canales was born in Ciudad Mier, Tamp. Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death, by her beloved husband of 64 years of marriage, Oscar Canales Canales.
Parents, Manuel and Maria Garza.
Brother, Carlos Garza.
Sister, Beatriz Chapa.
She is survived by her loving children, Oscar Mario (Celia)  Canales, Natalia Canales Garza, Adelina (Juan) Hinojosa, Paula (Jose F.) Dominguez and Oneyda Canales.
Grandchildren, Jose F. (Griselle) Dominguez Jr., Bernice (Cesar) Infante, Henry (Diana) Dominguez, Derly Hinojosa, Efrain Dominguez, Oscar M. (Brenda) Canales, Azeneth (Gabriel) De La Cruz, Itzel Hinojosa, Esteban Canales, Pedro Vazquez and Citlalill Vazquez.
Great grandchildren, Alejandro Infante, Alexa Infante, Caleb Dominguez, Alessandra Dominguez, Leah Isabella Dominguez, Adrian Dominguez, Christian De La Cruz, Nicholas De La Cruz, Owen De La Cruz, Daniel Vazquez and Mia Vazquez.
Brothers, Romualdo Garza and Noe Garza.
Sister, Amanda Chapa.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will be departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
