ERNESTO GARCIA Ernesto Garcia, 54, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 at a local hospital. Mr. Garcia was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a life long resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecilio and Odilia Garcia. Brother, Juan Jose Garcia. He is survived by his loving wife, Adriana I. Garcia. Children, Ernesto Garcia and Cecilia Gabriela Garcia. 5 brothers, Flavio (Tonita) Garcia, Cecilio (Juanita) Garcia, Mariano (Guadalupe) Garcia, Pablo Garcia and Roberto Garcia. 4 sisters, Elma (Ruben) Gutierrez, Patricia Garcia, Adriana (Juan) Montes and Guadalupe Garcia (Alberto). Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. officiated by Rev. Deacon Raymundo Guevara in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning, July 15, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
