ERNESTO "EL BISQUIT" GOMEZ Ernesto "El Bisquit" Gomez, 44, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at a local hospital. Mr. Gomez was a lifelong resident of Laredo. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Gomez Sr. and by his mother, Graciela Gomez. Surviving him are his brothers and sisters, Manuel (Lilia) Gomez, Jr., Oralia Gomez, Diana (Luis) Martinez, Roberto (Patricia) Gomez, Maria Elena (Sergio) Cecilio and Sergio Gomez. Also surviving him are uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A chapel service will be held at 6:15 p.m. officiated by Chaplain Luis G. Rodriguez of the Webb County Sheriff's Office. Committal services for Mr. Gomez will be held at a later date.
