Obituary

ESMERALDA SALDANA
Esmeralda Saldana, 47, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020, at a local hospital.
Ms. Saldana was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Teas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso Saldana and Carmen Alanis De Saldana.
Sisters, Guadalupe  Saldana Alanis and Patricia Maldonado.
Brother, Arturo Saldana and Antonio Saldana Alanis.
She is survived by her children, Jonathan Cadena and Esmeralda Cadena (Alan Munoz).
Boyfriend, Jesus Ramirez.
Grandchildren, Daphne Munoz, Brianna Munoz, Cailyn Garcia (Goddaughter), Francisco Cadena, Gizel Cadena and Francisco Cadena Jr.
Siblings, Lourdes Rodriguez, Maricarmen Saldana, Veronica Saldana and Alfonso Saldana.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A Liturgy of the Word, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
