Esperanza Rocha, born on May 29, 1945, passed away on August 29, 2026.

Her life spanned more than eight decades, and her memory will be held with affection and respect by those who knew and loved her. Esperanza’s name itself speaks of hope, and in her passing that hope endures in remembrance, in love, and in the quiet gratitude of a life that will not be forgotten.

As family and friends mourn her death, they also honor the lasting presence of her life and the place she held in the hearts of others. May her memory bring comfort to all who grieve her, and may she rest in peace.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, located at 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. A Vigil of the Deceased and Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 p.m. that evening in the funeral home chapel. Committal Services will be held at a later date.
