ESPERANZA VELOZ
Esperanza Veloz, 89, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at a local hospital.
Ms. Veloz was born in Amarillo, Texas and was along life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Agapita Sandoval.
Daughter, Juanita Veloz.
She is survived by her children, Juan Jesus Veloz, Teresa M. Sanchez and Claudio Sanchez.
Grandchildren, Lesley A. Sanchez, Alyssa G. Sanchez and Claudette M. Sanchez.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
A Liturgy of the Word will be officiated on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Information regarding the committal service time and the Liturgy of the Word hour may be obtained by calling the funeral home 956 723-2979.
