ESTELA GAYTAN CAMARILLO Estela Gaytan Camarillo was born on September 12, 1926 in Taft Texas. She was raised in Laredo and attended Laredo public schools. She passed away on December 6, 2014 at the age of 88. Estela was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Bernabe Hernandez, brothers and sisters, her beloved sons Alfredo and Javier Gaytan, her husband Jesus Camarillo, her first husband and father of her children Perfecto Gaytan, and son-in-law Jose Luis Santos. Estela is survived by her children: Juan (Maria Elena) Gaytan, Perfecto (Sara) Gaytan, Jr., Abraham (Norma) Gaytan, Maria Guadalupe Santos, Irma Gaytan and Rosalinda Gaitan. 27 grandchildren from the Gaytan, Guerra, De Los Santos, Arredondo, Achord, Santos, Yancey, Jimenez, Ramos, Montalvo and Chapa families, also numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Estela is also survived by her brother Manuel (Sara) Hernandez, many nieces and nephews, family, and friends (Helen San Miguel, Nina and Natalie Zepeda). The family wishes to thank Laredo Specialty Hospital, Dr. Luis Benavides and Regent Care Center for all the care given to our dear mother. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
