ESTHER O. GALLEGOS Esther O. Gallegos, 64, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs.Gallegos was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio Ortega Sr. Brother, Antonio Ortega Jr. She is survived by her loving mother, Noemi C. Ortega. Children, Eulalia (Patricio) Vega, Jose Luis (Teresa) Gallegos, Alejandro (San Juanita) Gallegos and David Joel (Diana) Gallegos. 12 Grandchildren Brothers and Sister, Jose (Alicia) Ortega, Raul (Laura) Ortega, Ruben (Josefina) Ortega, Ricardo (Irma) Ortega and Dora Alicia (Alfredo) Gallegos. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Religious service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, March 1, 2012 with a chapel service officated by Ernesto and Leticia Garza at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will immediately follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
