EUGENIO TIJERINA JR.

Eugenio Tijerina Jr., 71, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

Mr. Tijerina was born in Candela, Coahuila, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eugenio Tijerina Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 47 years of marriage, Elva Rosalinda Tijerina.

Children, Eugenio (Karla) Tijerina III, Marco Antonio (Lorena) Tijerina, Enrique Xavier Tijerina, Roberto (Sandra) Ruiz, Nora Isabel (Alfredo) Gonzalez and Victor Manuel (Claudia) Ruiz.

21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Mother, Felicitas S. Tijerina.

Sisters, Maria de los Angeles (Matias) Ydrogo and Maria Felicitas Oviedo.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, November 7, 2022 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, N orth side Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Marco A. Tijerina, Victor M. Ruiz, Ely Tijerina, Eugenio Tijerina III, Enrique X. Tijerina, Marco Tijerina Jr., Eugenio Tijerina IV and Rafael Barba.
