EVA BENITEZ

Eva Benitez, 63, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 in Austin, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eloy Benitez Sr. and Luz Elena Morales, her two brothers, Jorge Alberto Benitez and  Eloy Benitez Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years of marriage, Ray L. Acord.

Her children,  Samuel L. Acord, Richard L. Acord, Ray Lee Acord Jr. and Mary Vaslet.

Grandchildren, Aidan Acord and Eziquiel  Acord.

Sister; Juany Benitez

Cousin, Gabriela Morales.

Also surviving her are numerous other cousins, several other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church. Committal service and interment followed in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Richard Acord, Ezekiel Acord, Samuel Acord, Ray Acord Jr., Jorge E. Morales, Alec Holtforth, Ray Acord Sr. and Ramon Martinez.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
