MISS EVANGELINA GONZALEZ Miss Evangelina Gonzalez, 94, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at a local hospital. Miss Gonzalez was born in San Diego, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She is survived by her great nephews and nieces, Patricia (Eloy) Ramirez, Armando (Cruz) Gonzalez, Jr., Fernando (Claudia) Gonzalez, Gilberto Gonzalez, Humberto Carrera, Ricardo Gomez, Anna Gomez, Teresa Gomez and Jesus Gerardo Gomez. Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
