FABIAN ABREGO Fabian Abrego, 94, went peacefully to see the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2011 at a local hospital. Mr. Abrego was born in Potrero, Nuevo Leon Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margarito & Adelina Abrego. Wife, Ana Maria C. Abrego. He is survived by his children, Ofelia (Francisco) Cantu, Josefina (Gustavo) Villarreal, Fabian Abrego Jr., Adelina (Rodrigo) Gaona, Homero (Oralia) Abrego, Ana Maria (Gerardo) Hernandez, Olga Martha (Bartolo) Zuniga, Horacio (Dolores) Abrego and Mario (Bertha) Abrego. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Sisters, Sarita Maldonado and Julia (Jose) Gomez. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
