FACUNDO A. CARMONA Jr.

Facundo A. Carmona Jr., 76, passed away on March 20, 2024 in Corpus Christi, TX.

Facundo was born in Laredo, Mexico in 1947. His early career was as an auto painter in Laredo, TX. Here he married his first wife, Rosa Almaguer, and had their first child. In 1968, they moved to Livermore, California where Facundo studied to become a certified mechanic, and in 1972 they had their second child. In 1979, his wife passed away. Later he remarried, had his third child, and in 1983 they moved to Corpus Christi, TX. He continued in his profession until he retired, and lived his remaining life in Corpus Christi. He will be laid to rest in Laredo, TX.

Facundo was preceded in death by his mother, Maria de Jesus Aguilar; father, Facundo Ramon Carmona; sisters, Teresa Hudgins and Vicky de Alba; brothers, Juan M. Carmona and Jesse Carmona.

He is survived by his children, Facundo Carmona III, Margaret Carmona Hansen and Daniel Carmona; his grandchildren Elma Jude Carmona and Noa Margaux Carmona; his former wife, Anna Valdez; his sisters Francis Mixon, Maria Bernal and brothers Alfonzo Carmona, Guadalupe Carmona, Pete Carmona and Alejandro Carmona.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Dan Carmona, Facundo Carmona, Jorge De Leon, Ricky Ochoa, Tony Mixon and Rolando Bernal.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
