FELIPE ARELLANO Felipe Arellano, 85, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Arellano was born in Tucson, Arizona and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for sometime. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Josefina Arellano. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years of marriage, Juanita A. Cuellar. Sons, Jose L. Arellano and Felipe (Sylvia) Arellano Jr. Grandchildren, Jose L. Arellano, Felipe (Esmeralda) Arellano III and Jessica (Jose) Gallegos. 3 great-grandchildren. Brother, Salvador Arellano of Chicago, Illinois. The Family would like to offer a special gratitude to the late J.C. and Anita Martin Jr. and Dr. and Mrs. Michael V. Galo who employed Mr. Arellano for 69 years and also to Dr. Jaime Sued and staff for all the special attention provided to Mr. Arellano. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6 p.m. officiated by Rev. Msgr. Alejandro Salazar in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
