FELIPE LEIJA Felipe Leija, 59, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Leija was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Santos Leija. Sister, baby girl Leija. Brothers, Jesus Leija, Juan Leija, Santos Leija, Jr. and Arturo Leija. He is survived by his mother, Isabel Leija. Brothers and sisters, Jose (Maria Leonor) Leija, Calixto (Carmen Sylvia) Leija, Juana Jasso, Maria Guadalupe (Jose Luis) Munoz, Isabel Leija Aguina and Santos (Yvonne) Leija. Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
