FERNANDO GARCIA Fernando Garcia, 52, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Garcia was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. He is preceded in death by his parents, Refugio G. Garcia and Guadalupe Romo Garcia. Brothers, Juan R. Garcia, Victor Garcia ad Jesus Garcia. Sister, Maria De La Luz Belmont. He is survived by his son, Victor Garcia. Siblings, Alejo (Maria) Garcia, Magdalena (David) Guevara, Dora Alicia Almeida, Norma Garcia, Raul Armando Garcia and Virginia Ingevretsen. Sister-in-Law, Ines (Victor, dec'd) Garcia. Best-Friend for the longest time, Alfonso "Poncho" Martinez. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation and a Vigil of the Deceased was held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Santo Nino Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
