FERNANDO MARTINEZ-HUERTA
Fernando Martinez-Huerta, 76, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022.
Mr. Martinez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Margarita Martinez.
Grandson, Ociel Martinez.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years of marriage, Elisa R. Martinez.
Children, Fernando (Isabel) Martinez, Israel (Jessica) Martinez, Isaias, (Hortencia) Martinez, Angel (Azeneth) Martinez and Elisa (Walter) Placencia.
18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Sister, Reyna Hernandez.
Brother, Juan Antonio Martinez.
Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 departing from the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St
. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Isaias Martinez, Fernando Martinez III, Angel Martinez, Israel Martinez, Fernando Martinez VI, Abacuc Martinez, Isaias Martinez Jr. and Israel Martinez Jr.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS WERE: Jose Mojel, Walter Placencia and Cesar Rodriguez.
