FIDELIA GONZALEZ MASCORRO Ms. Fidelia Gonzalez Mascorro, 76, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 in a local hospital. Mrs. Gonzalez Mascorro was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo most of her life. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Irma Veronica Calhoun and her grandson, Anthony Alan Calhoun. She is survived by her children: Lucio (Mirtha) Diaz, Lucila Diaz, Alma Rodriguez, Jose Antonio (Mary) Diaz, Silvia Lopez, Bertha Vela Mascorro, Beatriz E. Castellanos, Evangelina (Carlos) Diaz, Ana Laura Melendez, Hector R. Mascorro and Rosaura J. (Juan) Lara. She is also survived by 41 nephews, numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston at San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held at a later date in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico at Funerales Hernandez.
