FILIBERTO RODRIGUEZ Filiberto Rodriguez, 91, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his sister, Herminia R. Sandoval. Brother, Melchor Rodriguez. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years of marriage, Guadalupe Rodriguez. Sons and daughters, Paula R. (Mario) Flores, Heriberto (Delia) Rodriguez, Rosa (Ignacio) Contreras, Cecilia (Mario) Infante, Maria Elena Ortiz, Carlos (Bertha) Rodriguez, Raul (Sandra) Rodriguez and Gloria (Luis) Hinojos. 24 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Sister, Clara (Fausto, dec'd) Garza. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
