FRANCISCA "PANCHITA" FARIAS
Francisca "Panchita" Farias, 86, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Farias was born in Zacatecas, Mexico and had been a long life resident in Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ascencion and Virginia Perez.
Brother, Severiano Perez.
Sisters, Catalina Perez de Valadez and Amalia Perez de Quiroz.
Grandson, Ascencion Flores Jr.
Son-in-law, Juan Reynaldo Casarez.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years of marriage, Francisco Farias, Jr.
Children, Francisco (Maggie) Farias, III., Leticia Casarez, Laura Alicia Diaz, Edmundo (Rosa) Farias, Eduardo Farias, Maria Guadalupe Celia Quintero, Sara Alicia (Carlos) Vega and Guillermina Farias.
19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. A religious service will be held at 6 p.m. officiated by Pastor Sam Lopez of Christ Worship Center. Afterwards a Vigil of the Deceased will also be held at 7 p.m. Both services in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:05 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
