FRANCISCA G. HERRERA
Francisca G. Herrera, 89, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020, in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Herrera was born in Austin, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She served as a Housekeeper and Cook, at the San Luis Rey Catholic Church Rectory for 12 years. She was also was a member of the Maria Auxiliadora Religious Organization Group and the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass Choir, at San Luis Rey Church. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Felix Herrera.
Sister, Manuela G. Ortega.
Son, Felix Herrera Jr.
She is survived by her children, Jose R. Herrera, Martha S. Herrera, Angel A. (Dominga) Herrera, Rodolfo E. (Benita) Mata and Francisco "Frank" (Rosalinda) Mata.
14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Brother, Jose Carlin.
Daughter-in-law, Leticia Herrera.
Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2020. Holy Mass will be officiated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
