FRANCISCA B. RUIZ Francisca B. Ruiz, 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at a local hospital. Mrs. Ruiz was born in Gonzales County, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo for sometime. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Damiana Briseno. Husband of 60 years of marriage, Juan Ruiz. She is survived her children, Marcos (Ramiro) Tovar, Reyes (Maria Emma Trevino) Ruiz, Cirilo (Guadalupe Cortez) Ruiz and Petra R. (David) Rodriguez. Grandchildren, Ramiro, Norma, Juan, Edith, Juan Carlos, Heraclio, Isidro,artin, Santa, David Jr., Hugo Cesar and Idolina. 19 great-grandchildren. 1 great-great grandchild. Brothers, Felipe Briseno and Acencion "Chon" Briseno. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
