Obituary

FRANCISCO JAVIER CONTRERAS
Francisco Javier Contreras, 53, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mr. Contreras was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Margarita Contreras.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 29 years of marriage, Myrna Alma Garza.
Children, Francisco Javier Contreras II and Alexandra Gutierrez.
Brother, Carlos (Magda) Contreras and Juan Manuel (Rosario) Contreras.
Sister, Leonor (Federico) Hernandez, Raquel (David) Patricio and Margarita Contreras.
Also surviving him are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment  followed in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Oscar de la Garza, Francisco Contreras, Ricardo Espinoza, Bulmaro Cruz, Mario Rocha Jr., Joaquin Bustamante, Federico Hernandez, Juan Sergio Garza and Mario Rocha Sr.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS WERE: David Patricio and Vidal Garza.
