Francisco Piña

Francisco "Kico"  Piña, 80, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

Mr. Piña was born in El Paso, Texas but had been a resident of Laredo for sometime.

He is preceded in death by his wife Maria Antonieta Piña who passed away on April 2, 2016.

He is survived by his seven children, Blanca Estela (Jose Luis) Capistran, Francisco Piña, Jr., Mario Antonio (Elizabeth) Piña, Rosalinda (Alonzo) Garcia, Juan Fernando (Sylvia) Piña, Mary Piña and Sergio (Maricela) Piña.

Also surviving, her are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Prayer service officiated by Pastor Mario Antonio Piña will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. with a Religious service on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment immediately follow the service in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
