Obituary

FRANCISCO TORRES JR.
Francisco Torres Jr., 63, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
Mr. Torres was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Paula Torres Sr.
Brothers, Ruben Gonzalez and Tomas Gonzalez.
Sister, Idalia Caballero.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Lee Torres.
Children, Francisco Torres III and Olivia Torres.
Sister, San Juanita Hermelinda (Rafael) Loa.
Nieces and nephews, Kassandra Loa, Alfredo Gonzalez, Gilbert Caballero, Paula Gonzalez, Ruben Gonzalez, Idalia Gonzalez, Erick Gonzalez, Alex Gonzalez, Edwin Gonzalez, Edgar Gonzalez, Magaly Gonzalez, Thomas Gonzalez, Gerardo Gonzalez, Patricia Gonzalez, Sandra Gonzalez, Jonathan Carpenter and Janet Lee Carpenter.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:05 a.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
