GABRIEL VASQUEZ
Gabriel Vasquez, 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mr. Vasquez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
"Gabriel siempre fue un esposo , padre, abuelo y suegro amoroso y un buen amigo a todos quien lo conocieron."
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Manuela Vasquez.
In laws, Luis and Soledad Vargas.
Daughter, Sylvia Lopez.
Granddaughter, Angelica Lopez.
Son in Law, Alberto Lopez.
Brother, Felix Vasquez.
Sister, Rosalinda Gonzalez.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 52 years of marriage, Alicia Vasquez.
Children, Gabriela (Victor) Montiel, Imelda (Austin) Garay, Alicia (Ricardo) Ibarra and Alberto (Cristina) Lopez.
13 grandchildren.
Siblings, Teodora Mendez and Victor Vasquez.
Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
