Gabriela R. Pena , 23, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at a local hospital. Miss Pena was born in Munster, Indiana and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, George Pena from East Chicago, Indiana and her paternal Grandfather, Luis Pena. She is survived by her Mother Raquel Pena. Sisters, Georgette Pena from Hammond, IN, Olivia (LeAnton Williams) Pena and Anissa Pena. Nephews and Nieces, Natalia Cortez, LeAnton Williams Jr., Nathaniel Santana and Liam Williams. Maternal Grandparents, Joe (Rita) Ortiz. Paternal Grandmother, Alicia Pena of Minnesota. Also surviving her are Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, other relatives and many friends. The Family would like to thank her very special friends, Ana Maria Rodriguez and Maria Del Socorro Aguiar. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel . Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will be held at a later date.
