GENARO ARCE Genaro Arce, 85, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011 at a local hospital. Mr. Arce was born in Villa Hidalgo, Coahuila Mexico and and had been a resident of Laredo for sometime. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Roberta Arce. Wife, Zulema Arce. Daughter, Enedina A. Rodriguez. Children, Esperanza Arce, Genaro Arce Jr., Armandina Arce and Jorge Arce. 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Brother, Brigido (Irene) Arce. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at South Texas Primary Care. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m on Thursday, November 10, 2011 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
